Chinese Panda

Pandas Eating Habit

Pandas feed on mainly bamboos, others including wheat, corn, equisetum, cogon grass, mushrooms and the roots of wild Chinese angelica. They seldom eat small animals and animal corpse.

Activities

Comparing other animals of the same size, pandas spend most time in searching food and sleeping. High branches of trees, which are safe and cool, are pandas favorite rest place.

Pandas are never afraid of coldness, so they never hibernate. Even though the temperature  is  -4 C~-14C, they still walk in the snowy forest, searching bamboos, instead of hiding in the hole of trees or hibernating in the rock caves.
