Ancient Chinese architecture is also famous for its decorations. The decorations of ancient Chinese architecture can be divided into two kinds, namely the colorful paintings and the decorative sculptures. The most famous decorations are the paintings in the Long Corridor of the Summer Palace in Beijing and the sculptures in front of the Hall of Preserving Harmony in the Forbidden City in Beijing.
