Torch Light Festival starts from the 24th day of the sixth lunar month. It is the traditional festival of Li, Bai and Naxi ethnic groups.
On the night, people walk around crops with flaming torches in their hand. In this way, people express their hope of good harvest for next year. In some villages, people even set up a huge torch which is so thick that only two or three people can embrace together. During the three days and nights of revelry, strong guys carry out wrestling and horse race while girls sing and dance to the audience.
