Enjoying moonlight is another custom of Mid-autumn Festival. After nightfall, the whole family goes out for a walk, looking up at the silver full moon and thinking of their faraway friends and relatives. For those who live far away from home, moon cake and moonlight always arouse their homesickness. In China, people are very concentrated on the principle of filial piety. It is highly respected that a person often goes back to home for seeing over their parents. So the Middle Autumn Festival becomes a good opportunity of returning home. The day is entitled as the second important festival after Spring Festival in China.
