Renminbi (means people's currency in English) is the official currency in the mainland of People's Republic of China and is also considered as the strongest currency in Asia. Renminbi, always abbreviated as RMB or CNY is issued by the Bank of China. The symbol of Renminbi is ¥.
The most popular unit of Renminbi is Yuan, with smaller denominations of Jiao and Fen. However, nowadays Fen is seldom used by people. The covert among the three is : 1 Yuan = 10 Jiao, 1Jiao = 10 Fen.
