Major Tourist Cities
Sichuan

Sichuan , bordered by the Tibetan Plateau in the west and Yangtze River in the east, is in the southwest of our country with the largest number of population (85 million). Chengdu is the provincial capital city.

A lot of celebrities have something to do with this province: a well-known ancient prime minister, Zhu Geliang spare no effort in the performance of his duty in Three-kingdom Period; Libai and Dufu, famous Chinese ancient poets at Tang Dynasty composed pomes about it.

The number of panda in Sichuan takes a percentage of 85%, so it is also called "the city of pandas." Pandas as tourism resources share the same fame with the Great Wall and Terracotta Soldiers and Horses at Qin Dynasty.
